Another Guy Writing About Sports!

I am sure the follow-up to the title is "Are you kidding me?" No, I am not kidding you, not by any means! And yes, I am another guy writing about sports. And yes, I am another guy writing about life in sports, watching sports, playing sports, and for all intensive purposes living a life that involves sports! The fact is that everyday, sport like life, is happening! Everyday that is, with the exception of the second wednesday in July. This is the day when ESPN suffers it's smallest viewership, when your neighborhood sportsbar creates some gimic to get you in the door, and when every married, or nearly married man, is without excuse! This is the day when there are no sports. It is the one day life continues, while sports hits the pause button. Unless of course you have an all too often viewed copy of the 1985 Super Bowl on VHS. I am not this guy however, although I have considered it, and for the time being this is okay. It will continue to be the one day that I can take a break from the all too stressful world of sitting on the couch, reading the Sporting Green with ESPNews on in the background, waiting patiently for the voices of Kruk and Kuip to fill my ears with San Francisco Giants baseball for the next three plus hours. To that end, the TV is calling me! I have to catch the Warriors and Heat. Sure it starts in 4 hours, but I am sure I can find something else to watch!
